How this calculator works

The checker reads the text you paste line by line and looks for about twenty terms a rate confirmation should cover: the load number, the broker's name and MC number, the total rate, line haul and fuel surcharge, pickup and delivery addresses and appointment times, equipment, reefer temperature, commodity, weight, detention, layover, TONU, lumper handling, payment terms and quick pay fee, other accessorials, and miles.

Each term is marked found (with the line it came from), incomplete (for example, a detention clause with no hourly rate, or a city with no street address), or missing. Missing and incomplete terms come with why they matter and a question to send the broker before you dispatch.

It also pulls out any line with fines, late fees, penalties, deductions, chargebacks, withholding, or claims language, so you read those before you sign.

Rate per mile = total rate ÷ miles. If the rate con lists miles, the checker uses them. You can enter your own route miles instead, which is usually more accurate than a broker's short miles.

Your rate con never leaves your device. The checking runs in your browser, with no upload and no AI service. It works on patterns, so an unusual layout can hide a term. Treat it as a second set of eyes, not a replacement for reading the document.
