Matrix footnote #27 (PRINCE EDWARD ISLAND): Effective July 1, 2023, Prince Edward Island has ceased collection of the carbon levy under the Provincial Climate Leadership Act. The Federal Greenhouse Gas Pollution Pricing Act is in place for PEI effective this same date. LNG tax rate is expressed per diesel litre equivalent (as per IFTA Ballot #05-2015).
